The Winter Wonders ice rink is Brussels\u2019 only open-air ice rink, set on Place De Brouck\u00e8re for the delight of skaters big and small. A terrace overlooks the rink so you can soak up the atmosphere while watching the action on the ice. This year, three curling lanes<\/a> are also integrated into the rink. Each year in mid-November, the Christmas tree takes its place at the Grand-Place. It stands proudly at the heart of the multicoloured sound and light show<\/a> projected on the fa\u00e7ades of the world\u2019s most beautiful square. When the festivities end in January, the tree\u2019s wood is reused to create, for example, benches for the following year\u2019s Winter Wonders or trophies for the BXL TOUR. The chalets offer both savoury and sweet dishes, along with a long list of gift ideas for the holidays. Some of them are run by artisans certified under the Winter Wonders Quality Label. The market stretches across several sites: Tour Noire, Vismet, and the squares Sainte-Catherine, Bourse, Monnaie and De Brouck\u00e8re. Standing 55 metres tall, the Ferris Wheel takes up its winter residence at the Vismet for several weeks, offering a truly unique experience: an exceptional panoramic view of the entire Christmas Market.
